THE FUN STUFF

What first sparked your interest in sustainability and energy?
At my first job, working in an energy-intensive engineering company, I realized how important it is to have renewable energy sources. That led me to work for a solar company, and through interacting with various industries, it struck me that overall energy management is critical to making this planet cleaner and more sustainable.

What’s one skill you’ve always wanted to learn or master?
Swimming. It’s something I’ve been meaning to learn for a long time—both for the fitness and the freedom it offers.

What’s one recent DIY project you’re proud of?
I recently added a few indoor plants at home. It’s a simple change, but it brought a refreshing, calming touch to my space.

What’s the longest hike you’ve ever done?
A 10-day trek to and from Mt. Everest Base Camp—it was physically demanding but incredibly rewarding. Reaching the base camp and seeing Mt. Everest up close was a breathtaking experience and a major bucket list moment.
