Reminder | Bcha Membership Structure Changes

The BC Hotel Association is committed to serving the entire hotel and accommodation sector, along with the wide array of businesses involved in its success. To better reflect the diversity of the operators and organizations we represent, we have changed some of the language used to describe our membership structure

  • Accommodation Members:
    • Replacing the term Hotel Member, our Accommodation Members refer to the diverse landscape of accommodation providers BC is home to and is a more inclusive and accurate term to describe the makeup of our industry.
  • Allied Members:
    • Previously referred to as our Associate Members, our Allied Members are businesses and vendors that are an integral part of our industry and offer significant benefits and services to support accommodators.
    • Explore services from these preferred vendors – click here to view our 2022 Buyer’s Guide and our B2B Benefits page on our website for additional savings opportunities.
  • Community Members:
    • A new category for our association, Community Members describe the educational institutes, DMOs, and not-for-profit partners that support industry growth and resiliency.
  • Premier Partners:
    • The BCHA team has worked closely with our collection of Premier Partners to curate specific industry-driven programming, exclusive to our members, with significant cost-saving opportunities and benefits.
